Mr. Goronwy Roberts

asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will make a statement on the future of the outpatients' clinic at the Memorial Hospital, Porthmadog, Caernarvonshire.

Mr. Peter Thomas

It is proposed to reintroduce a limited out-patient service at the hospital covering patients who need to be seen immediately. Other outpatients will be seen at the Caernarvon and Anglesey General Hospital, Bangor. I shall be writing to the right hon. Member shortly.
