asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many industrial accidents took place in the area covered by his Department's office in Macclesfield during the last three years.

The numbers of industrial accidents occurring in the areas of the municipal borough and the rural district of Macclesfield and Bollington urban district which have been notified to Her Majesty's Factory Inspectorate in the last three years are: 1970, 156; 1971, 140; 1972, 138.
