HC Deb 09 April 1973 vol 854 c227W
Sir G. de Freitas

asked the Lord President of the Council what was the cost of redecorating, furnishing and equipping No. 3 Dean's Yard to make it suitable for offices for Members of Parliament; when the work was completed; and how many Members of Parliament are using it at present.

Mr. Channon

I have been asked to reply.

The cost was £72,000 and the accommodation was ready for occupation at the end of 1972. No Members are using it at present, because the Bridge Street site accommodation is still available pending the House's decision on the new parliamentary building.
