asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a further statement on Governmental discussions over the Anglo-Icelandic fisheries dispute.

The British and Icelandic Governments are agreed that a resumption of Ministerial talks is desirable. I hope soon to be able to announce that a date has been set for them.
