§ Mr. Woodhouseasked the Minister of State for Defence if he will instruct commanding officers of the Armed Forces to make arrangements to advise Service men of the need to make plans in advance of their discharge for securing accommodation in civilian life for their families and themselves.
§ Mr. Ian GilmourIt is already standard procedure for all Service men leaving the forces on completion of normal engagements to be given such advice well in advance of their discharge. Many Service men will already have bought their own homes during their service.
