§ Mr. Concannonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will consider offering financial assistance towards the cost of special children's shoes which are needed due to deformity and odd-sized feet.
§ Sir K. JosephI have no powers to provide financial assistance for this purpose. The Supplementary Benefits Commission is however able to assist, in appropriate cases, families who are entitled to supplementary benefit.
