Whether they will give a precise definition of the expression "public service", as they use it in connection with the free movement of labour within the E.E.C.
THE MINISTER WITHOUT PORTFOLIO (LORD DRUMALRYN)There is no definition of this term which generally applies throughout the Community in connection with the arrangements for the free movement of labour. My right honourable friend the Secretary of State for Employment has not yet completed his discussions with the parties concerned about how the term should be defined for the purposes of employment in the United Kingdom.
