§ Mr. Forresterasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry (1) how many gas explosions have occured in North Staffordshire in each of the years from 1963 to 1972; how many properties were damaged; and how many people 110W were injured, seriously injured and died as a result of such explosions in each year;
(2) what was the cost of damage to all property due to gas explosions in each of the years 1963 to 1972; and how much of this was to private dwellings;
(3) how many private dwellings were damaged or destroyed by gas explosions in each of the years 1963 to 1972; how many of these dwellings did not use gas; and what estimate has been made of the number who were not insured or only partially insured for the building and contents;
(4) how many gas explosions there were in England and Wales in each of the years from 1963–72; how many properties were damaged; and how many people were injured, seriously injured or died as a result of such explosions in each year.
