§ Mr. Dudley SmithNo. Section 30 of the Factories Act 1961 already requires certain precautions to be taken where work is being done inside a confined space in which dangerous fumes are liable to be present. These precautions include, in some circumstances, a requirement for a person to be present keeping watch outside.
