§ Sir K. JosephThe Government will be proposing an amendment to the National Health Service Reorganisation Bill to require regional health authorities, when appointing members of area health authorities, to consult bodies representative of the dental profession. In addition, I intend that where the area of an area health authority (teaching) contains a dental school, three members will be appointed on the nomination of the university, of whom one shall be a registered dental practitioner.
