§ Mr. Peter WalkerOur aim is to see develop a British capability in the field of offshore supplies that will enable the United Kingdom to take full advantage of emerging markets world wide. The development of offshore oil prospecting and extraction by China could provide considerable opportunities for British companies. I hope to explore the possibilities further in the course of the programme of exchanges which was agreed upon during my visit to China.
