HL Deb 15 September 1972 vol 335 c708WA
LORD BEAUMONT OF WHITLEY

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What assistance the Uganda Resettlement Board would welcome from the public and what their address and telephone number are.

VISCOUNT COLVILLE OF CULROSS

The Uganda Resettlement Board is drawing up registers of available accommodation and jobs. All offers of assistance will be greatly appreciated. Sir Charles Cunningham, Chairman of the Board, has urged members of the public who think they may in any way be able to assist Asians from Uganda to get in touch with the Board. I would join him in this appeal. As from Monday, September 18, the Board's address is Riverwalk House. Millbank, S.W.1, telephone 01–828 7848.

House adjourned at ten minutes before four o'clock.
