§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether she will give, for the longest and most convenient stated period of time, the number of British born qualified students awaiting entrance into universities who have been refused admission due to lack of places; how long on average such applicants have to wait; and whether immigrants including the Ugandan Asians are being granted preference in obtaining admission into universities over British born applicants who have been waiting for several years.
