JosephAt the Conference with the remedial professions which was held on 18th July, I said that while I was aware of the shortage of remedial staff in some areas, it was arguable that shortages arose because their scarce skills were not deployed effectively. This is a problem which must be considered both by my Department and by the professions concerned.
