§ 23. Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) why it took his Department until 13th October to write to the hon. Member for West Ham, North to advise him that his letter of 28th September enclosing a communication from Mr. H. Perry of Odessa Road, London E.7, regarding illegal parking had been forwarded to the acting chief constable of Sussex; and whether he will expedite such sterotyped formal acknowledgment letters in the future;
