§ Mr. Biffenasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will list those traditional low-wage industries that will receive the assistance to achieve greater efficiency referred to in paragraph 7 of the Government proposals to the Confederation of British Industry and the Trades Union Congress published on 26th September.
§ Mr. Dudley SmithAs indicated in the proposals, the new body would be concerned with the position of the lower paid in all industries, though the approach might vary, for example, as between lower paid workers in Wages Council industries and others.
