§ Mr. Juddasked the Minister of State for Defence whether he will make a progress report on the survey of the 2,300-ton vessel, ordered but never collected by the late President Nkrumah of Ghana, at present being undertaken in Portsmouth Dockyard.
§ Mr. KirkThe survey at H.M. Dockyard, Portsmouth has now been completed and has shown that the ship is, generally, in good condition. It has accordingly been decided that she should be commissioned for service with the Royal Navy. She is to be named H.M.S. "Mermaid".
