HL Deb 25 October 1972 vol 335 c2246WA
LORD SHACKLETON

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What arrangements have been made for Anglo-German co-operation in the field of Civil Service training.

EARL JELLICOE

My Lords, I recently exchanged letters with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to establish machinery for joint consultation on training and study visits to each country by civil servants from the other. Training courses have already taken place under these arrangements at the Civil Service College and the Bundesakademie, in Bonn. A group of British civil servants returned earlier this month from a course in Bonn.

House adjourned at ten minutes past seven o'clock.
