HC Deb 17 October 1972 vol 843 c43W
Dr. Bennett

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what were the identity, flight number and operating company of the large aircraft that crossed inner London at low altitude at 9.36 p.m. on Sunday, 8th October; at what altitude and what maximal throttle setting it traversed Kensington and Chelsea; and why.

Mr. Onslow

Preliminary enquiry indicates that four aircraft landed at Heathrow from the east between 9.36 p.m. and 9.43 p.m. on the date in question. It has not however been possible, in the time available, to make an exhaustive investigation and I will write to my hon. Friend shortly.
