§ Sir K. JosephThe Report has been published today as Cmnd. 5115 and copies are available in the Vote Office. My right hon. Friends the Secretaries of State for Scotland and Wales and I are most grateful to Professor Asa Briggs and his colleagues for their comprehensive and penetrating study of the matters referred to them. We are giving careful and urgent consideration to the important and far-reaching recommendations contained in the Report and are inviting a number of interested organisations to submit comments. We would also welcome comments submitted within the next three months from any organisations not specifically invited to comment but wishing to do so.
