§ 60. Mr. Kinnockasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will introduce legislation to exempt busmen from the liability of income tax which results from their possession of free travel tickets issued by their employing omnibus concern.
§ 67. Mr. Horamasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will raise the threshold beyond which busmen are taxed on their free travel pass.
§ Mr. Patrick JenkinThe income level above which employees' benefits in kind generally are assessed to tax is being kept under review. It would not be right to single out busmen for special treatment.
