§ Mr. Laurance Reedasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how much it is planned to spend on grants under Section 11 of the Local Government Act, 1966, in the present financial year and in each of the next four years.
§ Mr. LaneI estimate, on the basis of local authority estimates of expenditure, that £7,010,000 will be paid in grant in 1972–73. I regret that I cannot give the information requested in respect of subsequent years.
