§ Mr. Loveridgeasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will list all major prices comprised in the retail price index, other than food, as at 6th November, 1972.
§ Mr. Chichester-ClarkI regret that the information is not available. Although the Department collects each month about 30,000 prices for items other than food, average prices for many of these items would not be meaningful because of variations in quality, and in fact average prices are not calculated for items other than food.
