§ Mr. Gardnerasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in the light of the forthcoming publication of the report of the Committee on Penalties for Homicide in Scotland, he will ask the Criminal Law Revision Committee for views on the penalty for murder in England and Wales.
§ Mr. R. CarrI understand that the Criminal Law Revision Committee is preparing an interim report on this subject, which I hope to receive soon.
