§ Mr. Pavittasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what estimate he has made of the additional occupancy of hospital beds which may arise from insurance policies which pay benefits contingent upon the number of days spent in hospital.
§ Sir K. JosephI have no reason to believe that clinical decisions about admission and discharge of patients are affected by the existence of these policies.
