§ Mr. RipponIt is my responsibility to co-ordinate the work of the Government on environmental pollution generally, and in discharging this responsibility I work closely with all the other Ministers concerned. I am directly responsible also for water pollution, air and noise pollution, except from aircraft, and the disposal of solid and radioactive wastes.
