§ Mr. CarlisleThe cost of removing a vehicle varies according to the circumstances, but in general does not exceed £6. During the 12 months ended 30th September, 1972, 76,075 cars were removed to pounds in central London. Information about the payment of removal charges is available only for the whole Metropolitan Police District; during the same period £289,764 was received in removal charges.
