§ Mr. Spearingasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if she will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT the names of the funds used by the Government Actuary in his calculations for the funding of that part of the Superannuation Fund for teachers known as the new entrant scheme, together with the performance of each fund.
§ Mr. St. John-StevasThe Government Actuary has regard not only to the funds to which he gives professional and therefore confidential advice, but also to the general body of actuarial knowledge and practice including the consensus as to the limits within which sound practice lies.
