Harrisonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) what were the maximum and minimum periods of loss of good conduct remission given to prisoners held in Her Majesty's Prisons during each of the last five years; and how many prisoners were sentenced to each period of loss of remission ordered;
(2) how many persons due to be released from Her Majesty's Prisons during each of the last five years failed to qualify for the whole of their one-third remission for good conduct; and what proportion this was of the total.
