§ Mr. Chichester-ClarkMy right hon. Friend appointed 19 men and one woman to the board, in addition to the chairman, when it was reconstituted on 18th March, 1973. This was after consultation with appropriate employers' and employees'174W organisations and, in the case of the educational members, with my right hon. Friends, the Secretaries of State for Education and Science and Scotland. There are 56,000 men and 94,000 women employees in the industry covered.
