§ Mr. BlakerAbout 1,600 acres of leased land are used by the Services for tactical training in the area of Sherwood Forest. No land in the area has been released in the past two years. Future land requirements in the area have been the subject of a review by the Defence Lands Committee which is expected to report in the New Year.
