§ Mr. Bishopasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what directions he has given to the Civil Aviation Authority regarding Her Majesty's Government's prices and incomes policy concerning air fare rises; and what proposals he has made to cover the consequent loss of the British Overseas Airways Corporation and British European Airways.
§ Mr. OnslowI have given no such direction and have made no such proposal. Rises in domestic air fares like other price rises will be subject to the Counter-Inflation (Temporary Provisions) Bill when it is enacted.
