§ Mr. Pavittasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he is satisfied that the representations made to him before the publication of the White Paper on Reorganisation of the National Health Service were taken into full account in putting forward the proposals contained in paragraph 45; and if he will now promote further public discussion on the hospital coverage for districts which will vary between 200,000 and 500,000 people.
§ Sir K. JosephRepresentations were taken into account in the preparation of paragraph 45 of the White Paper. The application of the proposals is being further considered in the course of the consultations which are taking place on the report on "Management Arrangements for the Reorganised National Health Service".
