§ Mr. ChannonThe number of court actions for possession is available only for all tenures for England and Wales, and for London for 1970 only. In London there were 15,521 actions for possession of residential premises of all tenures in that year. Figures for England and Wales for 1970 and 1971 are published in Civil Judicial Statistics 1971 (Cmnd. 4982).
