Member for West Ham, North, on 31st October giving the figure of 10,000 or so Ugandan Asians who have been provided with accommodation; and why this figure is less than half of that given by the Ugandan Resettlement Board.
§ Mr. EyreThe figure of 10,000 was a broad indication of the number of Ugandan Asian families, not individuals who would have to be housed. In fact, it is now believed that the number of households is very much smaller than this.
