§ Mr. OnslowNo. It would not be appropriate to place on an airport authority responsibility for this type of damage caused by aircraft operators. A right to recover damages from the owner of the aircraft without proof of negligence already exists under Section 40(2) of the Civil Aviation Act 1949.
