asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what was the number of industrial development certificates applied for and granted in the Dartford and Gravesend areas during 1970, 1971 and 1972.

Note: The exemption limit was raised in December, 1970 from 3,000 sq. ft. to 5,000 sq. ft., and in July, 1972 to 10,000 sq. ft.
