§ Mr. Chichester-ClarkNorth-west Kent is served by the Medway Government training centre which has 273 training places available and a further 156 are planned. On 22nd May, 354 applicants were on the waiting lists. Training facilities under the Government's vocational training scheme are also available in colleges of further education and employers' establishments in the area.
