§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will list in the OFFICIAL REPORT all the appointments, made by the Government, held by the Chairman of the Horserace Totalisator Board on the date of his appointment to the Chairmanship of this Board.
§ Mr. CarlisleLord Mancroft, as well as being Chairman of the Horserace Totalisator Board, is the chairman of a committee set up by my right hon. and learned Friend the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster to consider how to celebrate British entry into the European Economic Community. This is an unpaid appointment.
