HC Deb 24 May 1972 vol 837 cc408-9W
Mr. Rose

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland whether, in his consideration of procedures for dealing with Northern Ireland legislation, he will examine the desirability of setting up a Second Reading Committee to deal with Bills concerning Northern Ireland.

Mr. Channon

My right hon. Friend is considering the parliamentary procedures which might be appropriate to provide for a preliminary examination of Orders in Council under the Northern Ireland (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1972.
