§ Mr. Graham PageA number of voluntary amenity bodies and other organisations are invited from time to time to suggest names of persons suitable for appointment by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State to national park authorities in England. Unsolicited requests for persons to be appointed are also received. It is not my right hon. Friend's policy to appoint persons to membership of national park authorities as representatives of particular organisations.
