§ Mr. Gordon CampbellI have suggested that the joint advisory committees of local authorities which are being formed should gather information about staff and formulate provisional plans for redeployment, without prejudicing the responsibility of the new authorities or the work of the Staff Commission which I intend to designate in advance. In addition, the National Joint Council for Local Authority Services is conducting a staff census.
