§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he is aware that whereas the official rate of exchange for the £ sterling is 13.30 francs the French banks are only allowing British tourists 12.50 francs to the £ sterling; and if when he next visits Paris or has discussions within the European Economic Community he will raise this matter with the French Ministers concerned.
