§ Mr. Peter ThomasThe total number of persons employed by the Forestry Commission in Wales on 1st April, 1972, was 1,686. The corresponding figure on 1st April, 1962, was 3,289. The number is expected to decrease by about 2 per cent. by 1st April, 1973.
