§ Mr. Strangasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what consultations he has now had on the fish marketing arrangements to be introduced in Scotland if Great Britain joins the European Economic Community; and if he will make a statement outlining the progress which has been made.
§ Mr. Gordon CampbellMy Department has had extensive discussions with the Scottish fishermen's associations on the Community's fish marketing arrangements, as modified during the negotiations for entry. As a result I believe they are well aware of the broad nature of the system and the steps they should take to prepare for it. I shall keep them informed of developments and discussions will continue.
