§ Mr. Eldon GriffithsAn application for a capital grant was made to the Department by the Cheetham Hill Cricket Club in January, 1971, but was later withdrawn. On 1st April responsibility for dealing with applications for capital grants for sport passed to the Sports Council—which, I understand, is in touch with the club.
