HC Deb 15 May 1972 vol 837 c27W
Mr. Latham

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list the steps taken to eliminate discrimination on grounds of sex from those fields of law and administration which are within the control of his Department; and in which matters such steps have not vet been taken.

Mr. Peter Walker

I am not aware of any unjustifiable differentiation between men and women in the fields of administration in which I have statutory responsibility. No doubt the hon. Member will tell me if he knows of any particular instance.
