§ 41. Mr. Lathamasked the Minister of State for Defence if he will list the steps taken to eliminate discrimination on grounds of sex from those fields of law and administration which are within the control of his Department; and in which matters such steps have not yet been taken.
Lord Lamon:The conditions of service of women in the Armed Forces are based as far as possible on those of men, but there are certain necessary differences. If the hon. Member has some particular point in mind I shall be glad to look into it.
