HC Deb 09 May 1972 vol 836 c349W
Mr. David Clark

asked the Lord President of the Council if he will make arrangements for hon. Members to have access after 5 p.m. to documents necessary to the understanding of private Acts of Parliament.

Mr. R. Carr

As far as current Private Bills are concerned, all relevant documents are available to hon. Members in the Private Bill Office from 10 a.m. until the rising of the House.

As for Private Acts of Parliament, arrangements already exist whereby relevant papers, which are kept in the Victoria Tower, can be made available whenever the House is sitting if request is made to the House of Lords Record Office between 8.45 a.m. and 5.30 p.m.
