§ Mr. Wyn Robertsasked the Secretary of State for Employment whether he will publish a survey of unemployment showing how many have lost their last jobs 223W involuntarily, how many left their last jobs voluntarily, how many were re-entering the labour force, and how many were entering for the first time.
§ Mr. Dudley Smith:I regret that some of the information sought cannot be obtained without an undue expenditure of staff time within my Department. On 13th March, 1972, there were about 80.000 unemployed registrants who were either entering the labour force for the first time or re-entering it after an absence of over a year.
